ACHS Library

The mission of the ACHS Library is to provide students with a wide range of print and non-print resources and to teach them to use these resources effectively. Students receive one-on-one and group instruction on the effective location, evaluation, and utilization of all media. The library collection includes over 25,000 books and approximately 1500 videos and DVDs, all readily available for student use in the library, in the classroom, and at home.

The ACHS Library is an alive, vibrant, learning center staffed by four full-time personnel readily available throughout the school day. All members of the staff work to foster student growth in the effective use of information resources.

Hours
The library is open before school at 6:30 a.m., at lunch times, and after school until 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The librarians will keep the library open late until 4:00 p.m. by advance appointment.
