National Honor Society

The purpose of the National Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, to stimulate a desire to render service, to promote leadership, and to develop character in students of secondary schools. Chapelle NHS members must have a 3.6 GPA on either a 4.0 or 5.0 scale, no grades lower than a C-, must have completed 4 honors courses, must be active in at least two other Chapelle organizations, and must have an acceptable discipline record. NHS students serve as peer tutors, buddies for eighth grade students, and participate in service projects.
