Athletics

The goal of the Archbishop Chapelle High School Athletics Department is to provide opportunities for student athletes to excel in teamwork, sportsmanship, self-discipline and character befitting a Catholic school student.
Archbishop Chapelle High School, its administration, athletic director and coaching staff feel that high standards of conduct are essential to a sound athletic program. Student athletes will conduct themselves as young Catholic women at all times, remembering that each athlete is a representative of ACHS in school, in the community and on any campus which their team is visiting. Athletes are expected to treat opponents, officials, coaches and spectators with respect.

Archbishop Chapelle High School is a member of the Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) and is governed by its rules and regulations. As members of the highly competitive district, our teams are very competitive against a challenging cross-section of public and private schools.

Archbishop Chapelle High School fields nine interscholastic sports teams and has won many district, regional, and state championships. Several student-athletes have received college scholarships.
