Summer Camp Information

Archbishop Chapelle’s summer camps are designed for girls entering grades 4-8. Each one-week specialty camp provides fun and educational instruction in subjects that interest girls. Chapelle’s camps are held on the campus of Archbishop Chapelle High School and are taught by members of the ACHS faculty.

Each camp costs $65 and runs for one week. Special rates of $55 per camp are offered to students enrolled in four or more camps. Each camper must also pay a onetime, non-refundable registration fee of $25, which covers insurance, administrative costs, a camp T-shirt and a daily snack.

Before-camp service is offered at no additional charge from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. A camp counselor will be on hand in the Chapelle gym every morning of camp to supervise campers who arrive early.

After-camp care will be offered to all campers from 3:30 until 6:00 p.m. The cost for one camper per week is $25. For 2 or more campers the cost is $45 per week. Drop-in rate is $6/day.

In 2011, summer camp is scheduled for June 6-10, June 13-17, June 20-24, and June 27- July 1.

Examples of Camps

Archbishop Chapelle Acorn Camp

This specialty camp is for girls entering 1st through 3rd grade. All ACORN campers will be grouped together and have special activities just for their group. Activities will vary and will include arts and crafts, music, sports, dancing, theme parties, water activities and specialty events.

Each week of camp will cost $110. Each camper must pay a onetime non-refundable registration fee of $25 which covers administrative costs, insurance, camp T-shirt and daily snacks. Campers must bring their lunch.

Before-camp service is offered at no additional charge from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. A camp counselor will be on hand in the Chapelle cafeteria every morning of camp to supervise campers who arrive early.

In 2011, Acorn Camp will be held June 20-24 and June 27-July 1.
