Archbishop Chapelle High School is pleased to announce that the Apple iPad2 will be the device used to continue the 1:1 technology program at Archbishop Chapelle High School. After much evaluation, consultation and study, we are confident that the iPad2 and Apple products offer the best combination of educational capabilities that will allow our faculty and students to utilize technology in the classroom.

The iPad 2 is a product that inspires creativity and encourages hands-on learning with features that are not available elsewhere. They are easy to integrate into the curriculum and enhance regular instruction. The device enables teaching and learning in a whole new way, encouraging student to communicate their best thinking in a whole new way.

“There really is an app for that.” From Math lessons to vocabulary flash cards to anatomy visualizers, there are apps for every subject are and every level of instruction. Apps help to personalize instruction, address varieties of learning styles and create highly interactive classrooms. Knowledge and a familiarity with technology will enable our students to succeed in the world today; to become the leaders of tomorrow as they learn to compete in the ever growing global, information-based economy. The iPad2 will transform the learning process giving our students the freedom to learn wherever and whenever they want.

Through the use of various tools, Chapelle teaches our students to function responsibly and safely in a digital world.

Each day is a new opportunity for our students and faculty to grow and become more digitally literate and to become proficient with the ever-changing technology that is part of our world today.
